Best method to Keep Current cube back up in same application

Customer is using Essbase on-prem and as part of back up strategy, take complete cube back up in same application in on-prem essbase every year. i.e. Plan Cube is backed up as Plan_FY22 with same outline and data before procedding FY23 updates in Plan cube .

He would like to follow the same process in cloud Free form application, like keeping archive application up in same free form app for end user if they want to see numbers. (Not snapshot in server or other freeform application due to Licence cost).
