Terminated pending worker assignment show as Active

Hello

We have a terminated pending worker who's assignment is still showing as Active. The employment and work relationship record shows as terminated and usually the assignment record automatically changes to Inactive - No Payroll but in this instance it still shows as active. HR try to correct the record but there is no option to select Inactive. This user keeps appearing in our IAM integration so wondering if anyone has come across this and has a fix?
