Change person start date to before their original date - But we also have a Global Transfer

We have an Employee with a hire date of April 2021, they then have had a subsequent Global Transfer Sept 2022 thus terminating their original Assignment and creating a -2 for the new GT Assignment
The issue is that we need to add in a Original Employment Date of August 2003 for the original assignment
How can this be done with a Termination in-between? and the new record still being active
For other changes to hire date's the option of using "Change Person Start Date" has been used.
And I have tried this but when i try to create a new work relationship for the 2003 date and add in the Legal Employer it advises "A record for this legislation already exists for this person"
