API/Visual Builder Contract Line Type

When entering contract lines via API such as with Visual Builder, application requires ID values for many fields which are not user intuitive to know. For example, instead of allowing you to pass in Legal Entity Name, the application requires LE ID value.

For the most part, this challenge can be met by using the VB LOV functionality to display name but pass ID values.

With one exception--contract line type. The LOV function doesn't work for this one field, you can limit it to ID value but Type Name is not on the list to set up that relationship.

Is there something I am overlooking to enable this single field, or to get the system to function without requiring VB users to enter the ID values for this field?
