Online/Booking Tendering auto award to Lowest Service provider

Summary: OTM being able to award a spot bid tender prior to "expected response time"


Content (required):

We were researching into automation surrounding spot bid tenders. When an expected response time is inputted into OTM for a spot bid, a tender will be awarded to lowest cost provider at that timeframe. It is never a guarantee that the carrier has that option after 90-120 minutes of the bid being sent. We were thinking that if we had 7 service providers bid on a particular shipment, OTM could award to lowest cost carrier. Is there any type of programming/optional feature that looks into it?
