Problem Adding Competitor via dialog box in Digital Sales Opportunity.

Summary of the question:
Unable to 'Add Competitor' via dialog box in Digital Sales Opportunity.
The Add Competitor action in Digital Sales Opportunity does not work, the drop down does not display anything.
Even if type a competitor name manually it does not allow to save, resulting in "Couldn't complete the request" error.
Steps:
1. Log in to sales cloud
2. Navigate to Digital Sales > Opportunities
3. Open an Opportunity record
4. Navigate to Opportunity Competitors section or start typing Add Competitor
5. Try to add a competitor in the dialog box that appears
