Using Reassignment Rules & Bypass Complete
Summary:
One of our departments require their staff to take a number of classroom based courses, which are refreshed on a 3 yearly basis. Currently they track the training on a spreadsheet, but we want to move this into OLC.
The training itself will be arranged and managed by the department. They will just pass on the completion dates to me to be entered into OLC. It is likely to be very ad hoc, with 1 or 2 people attending a course at a time.
Instead of having to set up lots of different offerings, I am planning to just assign them at course level and use the Bypass Completed function. In addition, we will have some reassignment rules set up, so we can track expiry dates.
