How do you filter by a grandchild field value such as Creation Date in Talent Profiles?

Summary:

I am finding that this will pull results:

https://hcja-test.fa.us2.oraclecloud.com:443/hcmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.05/talentPersonProfiles?totalResults=true&limit=500&offset=0&expand=certificationSections,certificationSections.certificationItems&q=CreationDate < 2023-01-25

Which looks at the top level creation date but I want this call to work:
