Short ship or Zero Ship notification

Summary:

Even if there exists inventory in system, there could actually be short shipping or zero shipping in reality - because of physical discrepancy or damage - need notification in such cases

Content (required):

Consider following scenario:

  1. Available to reserve/transaction oh-hand exists for 10 pieces in Oracle.
  2. Sales order is created for 10 pieces - the sales order line is scheduled and 10 pieces are reserved.
  3. The sales order line status becomes 'Awaiting Shipping' and the shipment lines will be created in inventory.
  4. Run the pick wave and let warehouse pick 10 pieces.
  5. The warehouse picker goes for physical picking and only finds 6 or finds 10 but all are damaged (cannot be shipped)
