How to set item descriptive flexfield to inherit in child organizations?

Summary:

Need to inherit the item descriptive values from item org to child orgs

Content (required):

We have created 2 DFFs at item level which have been required fields.

The same value needs to be flown to child orgs.

How do we achieve this?

Users populate DFF values in Item Orgs, but when they navigate to child orgs and try to save they get an error which says that DFFs are required field. They then have to fill in the same values in all child orgs. We would like to reduce this extra work.
