Email Read Only based on Email Type (Add a Pending Worker Flow)

Summary:

We have a requirement to prevent the Work Email Address from been added during the Add Pending Worker flow. It's possible to hide the Email section completely usin the design studio, but wondered if there was anyway to to hide or make the email field read only based on the email type selected? So if the email type selected is Work Email, the email field does not render, or is read only? Tried using EL without any success.

If the above is not possible, can you restrict the available Email Types LOV using EL?
