Changing AR Instalment Terms
Summary:
In R12, we used functionality called “Modify Instalment Terms” to change the payment terms. This wasn’t standard Oracle AR functionality but was included as an optional add-in feature as part of “Oracle Public Sector Financials Internationalizations” (OPSFi). “Modify Instalment Terms” functionality is missing from Fusion.

This is a common requirement with our HE customers in UK. All students are given the option to pay their tuition and accommodation by instalment using recurring card payments (RCP). This means the terms on existing invoices may need to change e.g. an invoice for £1,000 due at the end of October, may need to be updated to have 10 instalments of £100 due at the end of 10 consecutive months from October. In R12, the “Modify Instalment Terms” functionality did this automatically, with the user simply having to enter the new payment term. Unfortunately, this must be done manually in
