Was the auto-withdraw function when a courses end-dates ever released?

Summary:

I remember reading/hearing about a feature that was coming that would take away the manual work of withdrawing hundreds/thousands of employees from training when a learning item end-dated. Was this ever released and if so, how do I do it (or get it)
