Evaluate Absence change Absence Time

We have the below scenario where Evaluate Absence is not working.

Leave Data was loaded by HDL or manual entry was done on a day, now post that schedule is changed for that day.

Once schedule is changed then if we run the evaluate Absence process then Leave start time and end time is not changing and it is causing huge issue.

Please note we are using Published schedule in this project.

Any advice on how to handle such scenario.
