Retained Mappings in Learning Plans
Summary
Group members do retain Learning Plan mappings if the retain mapping flag is turned on after users are added to a Learning Plan via dynamic groups.Content
Evelyn Hillmon had a question regarding retained mappings that we were not sure about during Lauren Correa's Learning Plan session. After testing, I confirmed that if users are added to a learning plan via a dynamic group before the Retain Mappings flag is turned on, the users will still be in the Learning plan if they are removed from the group.
In brief, as long as the user is in the dynamic group when the retain mappings flag is selected, they will remained mapped to the learning plan if they drop from the group. If needed such users can be manually removed from the learning plan at the learning plan users tab.
