guidance for discounts for coverages

Summary:

as Fusion Order Management and pricing do not support discounts for coverage items so far and in the current implementation it is a must we are planning to implement discounts via custom algorithm. would appreciate high level guidance or example.

Content (required):

in PriceSalesTransactions Algorithm there is a step "Calculate Pricing Charges For Coverages"

within it we have Calculate Coverage Charges with subalgorithm Calculate Pricing Charges.

we are looking for any example where we would be able to say insert predefined manual adjustment for coverage item from pricing algorithm (even an hardcoded one will do)
