Webservice to fetch scheduled ESS job's process id

Summary:

I wanted to know if there is any webservice that will help to fetch a scheduled ESS Job's process id. The input to this webservice can be job definition and its related information.

Detailed Description:

We have scheduled a custom ESS job in our system. However, we are not able to fetch this ESS job's process id through a web service. Once we are able to fetch this process id through a web service, a new webservice is called to fetch the output of the ESS Job. Please let me know if there is any way we can achieve this.
