AutoProvision Rule - Requestable option

I tried to configure autoprovision rule to assign role for an employee with requestable option. after hiring an employee, i didn't receive any approval notification to the line manager of the employee or any sorts of approvals haven't been received regarding autoprovision rules

can any one help me with this issue.
