R13 - Our experience this week...

Hi all,

Over the weekend we had our release 13 upgrade, it has been a slightly turbulent week where currently all our manager actions are switched off and payroll are unable to add new starters or terminate employees. For other customers due to go live with R13, below may help focus on some of the areas where we have experienced issues which may help future customers...

 

1. Workflow submissions failing – status ‘Stuck’ (3-17734998371)
   1. Workflows were not processing to completion meaning new starters could not be added, terminations failed and changes to employee details
      1. Oracle “We ran a health check on your environment and we found some issues and we need to bounce your ESS_SOAServer_1. Do we have your approval to do so? If so, please provide a three hour window of when we can complete this bounce for you.”
