Unable to record Annual leave absence although balance is available

Summary:

We have a case where we need to apply a 51 days of Annual leave backdated for previous year. He was having sufficient balance of 52 which was carried over to current year. There was already a 1 day of Annual leave entered in Jan mid-month which was restricting the staff to enter this leave and hence we deleted and then created leave entry for 51 days in prev year. But, now while trying to re-record for current year deleted abscence entry, we are getting error saying as below:

You can't record this absence because your balance for plan Annual Leave Plan will fall below the configured minimum for this type of absence. (ANC-3405002)
