Load Area of Responsibility via HDL for Organization Tree

Summary:

We are looking for a sample HDL for loading Area of Responsibility based on an Organization Tree

Content (required):

We are trying to load AoR for users using HDL, for our purpose we need to load using

Hierarchy Type: Organization

Hierarchy Name: The name of a Tree we created

Top Organization: Any node on the tree

In reviewing: https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect/discussion/242051/area-of-resposibility

The responses imply a couple of things that confuse our group.

  1. That one must use the TopOrganizationID instead of using the TopHierarchyOrganizationName - is that truly the case?
  2. If that is the case how does one get a mapping of the Node Name on the tree to the TopOrganizationId value. The post above indicates it can be obtained from a table or you can get from organization tree node itself. Does someone have SQL to get the values from the Tree?

Howdy, Stranger!
