New line manager is not displayed in employment history after a global transfer

Hello,

we are currently facing the issue that an employee's new line manager is not displayed in the employment history of this employee after a global transfer has taken place. It is working fine for a local transfer.

Is this because for a global transfer, the previous assignment info is displayed? if yes, why and is it possible to change that to show the info from the future assignment?
