How to prevent absences pending approval being sent to Timecard until they're approved

Summary: Need to prevent unapproved absences to appear on timecard.

Content (required): Just wondering if there is a way through configuration ( Not fast formula ) to prevent an absence to appear on Time card if the Absence it self is not yet approved, or if possible halt the approval of time card if there i an unapproved absence.
