Handling data field containing a comma while generating CSV files using etext templates in BI PublisherContent
Hi,
I have an etext template to create a .csv (comma seperated values) file.
Now say I have 2 fields DEPT_NAME and DEPT_CODE.
Now if I have a DEPT_NAME like say - "Finance Department,US" and when my CSV file is opened in MS Excel, the DEPT_NAME breaks to appear in 2 Columns since the seperator is ",".
Although I think such naming conventions wouldn't be used in PRODUCTION and an hyphen (-) would be used instead, can you please tell me if any work around exists?
