Inventory Balances FBDI import from 3PL

Summary:

In our implementation we have several integrations to 3PL and plan to use the Inventory Balances process to reconcile balances as required between the 3PL and Cloud Inventory. The balances from the 3PL will be provided at serial number level.

Questions is if there is a serial on hand in inventory cloud but is not included in the FBDI file provided by the 3PL will this be picked up as an exception or will it be ignored?

We want to know if it would be required to do a pre-check against the on hand in cloud inventory and add any serials that are not in the 3PL provide extract with a zero on hand?
