Is on-prem ODI 12.2.1.3 needs to be upgraded to latest version 12.2.1.4 before migrating to Cloud?

Summary:

Hi Team,

Customer is planning to migrate entire DWH to Oracle cloud.

Currently we are using ODI 12.2.1.3 & Oracle 19c DB in an on-prem environment.

I need to understand if it is mandatory prerequisite to perform an upgrade of current version(ODI 12.2.1.3) to latest on-prem version ODI 12.2.1.4 before migrating Oracle data integrator (ODI) objects from on-prem to Oracle cloud ODI market place.

What would be the challenges if we plan the migration to cloud (ODI market place) without upgrading to latest version (on-prem version ODI 12.2.1.4) ?
