Is there a limitation on the number extended attributes (EFFs) that can be defined for an item with definitions that are planned to driven NIR process in cloud?

Content (required):

A solar company has a wide variety of solar products sold through salesforce commerce platform. The design is through different applications outside Oracle based on in-house manufacture or project sales. In the future there will be over 400 attributes (and growing) defined across multiple SKUs that need to driven through NIR process. The question is if there will be a limitation, either through application or in terms of performance while compiling these EFFs or while they traverse through item definition pages while defining the item through NIR process.
