Expiry and Renewal rules for Specialization

Summary:

Hi Experts,

There is no expiry and renewal option available for a Specialization.

Is there a way to enforce expiry and renewal rules on a Course within a Specialization?

For example:

  1. 'Required' Learning Initiative is created on a Specialization that has single section and 3 activities
  2. One of the 3 activities has expiry and renewal rules defined on 'Default Assignment Rules' for the course.
  3. Since course enrollment by the Learner for a course within a Specialization is always 'Voluntary', the expiry and renewal rules will not kick in if a Learner enrolls in course via Specialization.
  4. If a 'Required' Learning Assignment / Learning Initiative exists on the course, if a Learner has previously completed the course, and the course is assigned to the Learner via Specialization, it goes into autocompletion.

Howdy, Stranger!
