How to avoid front-loaded accruals from occurring for multiple enrollments within same plan year?
Summary:
We are looking to have several versions of the same front-loaded accrual plan, with each version based on work location. This is to help address plan exceptions for states like California. It is possible that an employee can move in and out of the plan multiple times during the plan year due to changes in work location
We would like the plan to grant accruals on Jan 1 of each year and on the hire date for new hires.
We would like to avoid the plan re-granting accruals for anyone exiting and re-entering the same plan within a plan year, as they will receive more time than allotted.
