Salary with shift differential

Summary:

Hello - looking for advice on how to track/maintain salaries for employees that will also include a shift differential. Right now we have an assignment DFF that we track the "shift name" and we are just including the shift differential in the salary amount in the compensation section. The issue with this is that all the compa ratio data and our analytics is based on the salary amount with the shift differential included, but we would prefer if it were based on the base salary amount without the shift.

Any advice on how to maintain this level of data in HCM? We are not using the payroll module in Cloud.

Howdy, Stranger!
