Dynamic Group not populating?

Preview shows users but user tab never populatesContent
We use dynamic groups extensively to assign training to specific job titles, especially new employees. I have two groups that were created this morning where the preview looks fine yet an hour later there are no users in the group. Two other groups that I created late yesterday didn't populate until this morning.
Any idea what is going on? Suggestions appreciated! Thanks!
