how to make dependencies between specific fields

hi All,

need you advise:

we changed the field "worker category" to student/intern and we are using it in order to know if the employee is a student or not (LOV - student/Blank)

is there any option to make a dependence between that field to "Full time/Part time" and "FTE"? meaning that if the user is choosing "student" as the fields value --> automatically both fields will be change to Part time and 0.5??
