Line Manager Not Visible Under Managers Section But Reflecting In Employment History

The scenario is that a line manager doesn't appear under managers section for a specific employee. However, if we click in the 'View History' button and we select the record, the manager is visible.

We have already checked using the Classic UI (Person Management) and Responsive UI (Employment Info transaction) and the manager is not being displayed.

Any idea how to solve this issue?
