How to get “Payroll Name” of the terminated employees in HCM Extract?

Summary:

We built a HCM Extract to generate the date from Fusion, to integrate with an outsourcing Benefits system.

The issue is, for the terminated employees, DBI "Payroll Name" returned no data. The employee has blank Payroll Name in the data file.

The employee's benefit will be extended after the termination date. Due to the missing Payroll name, Benefits system errored it out.

For example, Person A. Termination date is 2023-03-06. Benefit extension date is 2023-06-30.

Run the extract, effective date is 2023-03-14 (after termination date)

In Extract XML, Payroll Name is blank, as below.

For the active employee B, Extract XML has the Payroll Name correctly.

Howdy, Stranger!
