Error: Any Edits to Amounts from Prior Approved/Reviewed Should be Edited Via New BE Lines

Summary: Can't update an attribute in rec. Ran into this error message

Content (required): We're trying to update an attribute located in a balance explanation line.

The attribute is P&L Account. When attempting to update this we're prompted with the following error message

"Any edits to amounts from prior approved/reviewed reconciliations should be edited via new balance explanations or deleted and re-entered."

This task can be cumbersome if the BE lines update involves a large volume of them.

Is there anything we can do to modify or temporarily lift his control? Even a service admin such as myself cannot bypass this.
