Draft Accounted Transaction Pulled into Capital Costs but Cost Not Capitalized
Has anyone encountered this.
- Created a Project with Manual Event capitalization.Created cost - some final costed some draft costed (one entry was an original cost in final accounted) and a reversal in draft.
- performance updated
- Created Capital Event, Assigned Asset, Assigned Cost. The costs included a negative entry in draft accounted status.
- Generate Asset Lines - Did NOT include the draft cost
- End Result = Asset was understated (due to draft cost),
I think if it picks up the cost it should send it over. The more correct thing would be for it to not pick it up at all, or give a warning, status of accounting for user to make decision as a cost in draft status has not been sent to GL.
