A very comprehensive Seniority Dates functionality was introduced in 17D (13.17.11). This is branded as Version 3 of the Seniority Dates functionality.

Given that now there are 3 different solutions/approaches to managing Seniority Dates in HCM Cloud, customers and partners have questions about which solution to use over another.

In order to aid decision making, a white paper has been published on My Oracle Support (MOS) highlighting the differences between these three solutions.

I have also attached that white paper here for quick reference. However, since we may keep updating that white paper based on customer and partner inputs, do check the MOS Doc ID for the latest comparison document.
