How to change the size appearance of Contract Header Descriptive Flexfields?

Summary of the question:

When user tries to add in Contracts Descriptive Flexfields (DFF) with a table valueset of large a char length, say 240, the DFF appears too large on the contract when viewed in the application.

Manually setting the char length to less, say 57, is also to large when viewing in the contract.

How to make the Contract Header Descriptive Flexfields field not to appear so long when viewing the contract?
