Manage Application Descriptive Flexfield; DFF Access Can be Limited by Role?

edited Apr 5, 2023 9:42AM in Human Capital Management 1 comment

Summary:

Our team decided to grant DFF access to one of recruiter roles. In order to grant the access, “Manage Application Descriptive Flexfield” (FND_APP_MANAGE_DESCRIPTIVE_FLEXFIELD_PRIV) was add to the role.

Content (required):

Upside is that the user of the recruiter role can access to DFF.

Downside is that, not only job requisition DFF, but also able to edit Core DFF Value, and to create value set, which we would like to limit.

With this role, the user can go to My Enterprise, Setup and Maintenance, Setup: Recruiting and Candidate Experience, Job Requisitions, Job Requisition Descriptive Flex Fields
