Updated Application Processing Guides for 22/23 and 23/24

On March 24, 2023, ED published updates to the 22/23 and 23/24 EDE Technical References, ISIR Guides, and SAR Comment Codes and Text Guides. A major change from these updates is the addition of comment codes 407 and 408 to both 22/23 and 23/24 ISIRs. There are also some minor updates to ISIR field values for both award years. The new comment codes are both related to the Department of Homeland Security Citizen and Immigration Services verifying student information. We will be planning to include these changes in an upcoming SFP release. Until then, ISIRs should continue to load as expected into SFP without
