Sales by order or pre-sale

Would you like to understand the process of selling products in the ecommerce store that do not yet have stock, that is, selling some products by order? As a line of material, which in order to avoid over-buying, saturating the stock and perhaps not selling, we would need a way to sell this material, without actually having it in the physical where the consumer can put it in the cart, finalize it, pay and then, based on this amount of purchases, we produce and deliver or purchase from the supplier and deliver, that is, as if it were a pre-sale.
