As an admin, how can we reassign the the pending approval notification?

Scenario:

Approval Hierarchy: Management Hierarchy - 5 levels of approval.

Transaction has been raised and pending with Level - 1 approval. If level 1 approver is on leave then as an admin if we are trying to reassign notification to another user who is not part of 5 levels of hierarchy then the entire approval hierarchy is getting changed.

So reassign is basically transferring the ownership to a different hierarchy.

How do we delegate the notification to another user as a proxy approver so that it will follow the same hierarchy?
