How to delete banks and bank branches?

Redundant banks and accompanying branches were loaded into the environment. How can I disable/delete these so that they do not show up on the list when setting up a new supplier bank account?

If they are disabled/deleted but are later needed, can they be 'remade' as usual or is there a reactivation process?
