Are there any Learning processes that would auto mark an employee's Learning to ByPass Complete?

Are there any Learning processes that would automatically mark an employee's Learning status to ByPass Complete?

We launched a required training course and are seeing that most employee's are showing Complete, however there is a large amount that are showing ByPass Complete. This is not being done manually and I am wondering if there is a process in the background or something that could be updating these to ByPass Complete.
