Standard Cost and Expense Cost Profile

Summary:

I am trying this costing scenario:

• Asset cost profile with a very granular valuation structure and actual cost.
• Expense cost profile with COST ORG - INV ORG valuation structure and standard cost.

At the time of creating standard costs under a cost scenario (for expense scenario) I find app is defaulting asset cost profile, so I am forced to create the standard cost for a valuation unit in the structure that is used in the asset cost profile, while I was expecting to be able to do it for a valuation unit in expense valuation structure.

It is weird because expense transactions are costed as expected using standard cost: under expense cost profile with expected valuation unit, although this valuation is different from the valuation unit where the standard cost was introduced.Any clue about what might be happening?Thanks in advance
