Functionality of GET_PAY_Availability function for "Elapsed Schedule" employees

We would like to understand how seeded "Get_Pay_Availability" function works for "Elapsed Schedule" work schedule employees. When tested through formula, "GET_PAY_AVAILABILITY" function returns employee is working for all days of the week. Is there an exception/parameter that can be passed to "GET_PAY_AVAILABILITY" function for "Elapsed Schedule" employees.
