Deep Link associated with tile - opening blank page

Summary:

New tile created under the Me group. Have associated the tile with a Link Type of Application Page, and designated a deep link against the Focus View ID.

The link works correctly for myself when I click on the tile. When I click on the link logged in as a standard employee/manager, the link only opens a blank page.

My user account does hold a number of admin roles. Is it possible that a blank page is being returned due to role access within standard employee/manager?
