Even though Top resource level BC is set to "Do not create Control Budget", still it is creating

Summary:Even though Top resource level Budgetory control setting at Project is set to "Do not create Control Budget", still it is creating control budget.


Content (required):We have enabled budgetary controls at Project budget level with option as :-


  • For Project -> Control level enabled as ‘Absolute’
  • For Top resource -> Control level enabled as ‘Do not create control budget’


Once the budget is submitted and baselined,when we look via ‘Manage Control budgets’ screen we can see 2 control budgets created for Project and Top Resource.Project control budget created with control level field as ‘Absolute’ and Top Resource control budget created with control level field as ‘Track’.
