Is it possible to control if child models configurations opens as collapsed or expanded in the System Configuration Panel?

On Reconfigure, the child models always opens as expended in the System Configuration Panel. I would like them to be collapsed when reconfiguring and the System Configuration Panel opens. Is it possible to control that?
