Restrict comma separated values in number type valueset

We have created a checklist DFF segment of type number and assigned the seeded HRC_NUMBER_10 value set.

The concern is that the value entered in this section is separated by comma (',') (See attachment).

Is there a way other than creation of character type value set and include values of sub type numeric only. Since there is a limit of 30 character segments we would like to continue to use number segments only.

Is there a profile option to disable this behavior?
